In our society, there is enormous pressure on women of all ages to take self-responsibility and to be able to make it alone in the world. This website is not about women who don’t need men, because in many ways we do. It is also not a how-to guide for women to become the superior gender, because neither gender is superior to the other.
Such extreme feminine ideals are preached every day and although they have many valuable points, I would advise against becoming all-consumed by them.
I believe that men and women were designed to be perfect complements to each other, to embrace each other with all their strengths and weaknesses in order to work together and help one another grow. There is no cookie-cutter woman or man. Each gender must adjust their roles in life based upon their particular situation.
Through my own life experiences I learned a very important lesson: I need to be able to take care of me. This is the advice I hope to impart to you as well. Life is too unpredictable and, at some point, you may not be able to count on anyone else but yourself. While there is certainly no shame in allowing others to help you, you should take pride in knowing that you are in charge of your own life and that no matter what comes your way, you will have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make it through.
Throughout this site you will find articles on everything from how to change a flat tire to simple recipes that will make your friends envious. My goal is to provide a guide to women of all ages, offering insight on skills often not taught in schools.
I encourage you to become more aware of the world around you. Through this site, I hope to help you understand the importance of developing and strengthening the skills you need – so that you can become “Simplee” the best woman you can be.
Wishing you the best on your journey,

I do not wish them to have power over men, but over themselves. ~Mary Wollstonecraft
